Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how FreeImageTools.pro ("Free Image Tools," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit our website and use the image creation, editing, conversion, and related tools made available through it (collectively, the "Site").
Free Image Tools is a browser-based directory and interface for image tools. Some features are provided directly on the Site, while others are embedded from or operated by third parties. That distinction matters: information entered into an embedded tool is sent to that tool's provider and is handled under the provider's own privacy practices, not solely under this Policy.
Information We Handle
You can browse the Site without creating a Free Image Tools account. We do not currently ask you to provide a name, email address, payment information, or profile in order to use the Site.
When you access the Site, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. This information is used to deliver the Site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
The Site reads your browser language and stores a language preference and, when applicable, a temporary record that you dismissed the language suggestion. These values are stored in your browser's local storage.
Prompts, Images, and Other Tool Content
Some tools ask for prompts, source images, settings, or other content and return generated or edited images. When a tool is displayed in an embedded frame or clearly identified as an external service, your inputs and outputs are transmitted directly to and processed by that third-party service. Free Image Tools does not operate those third-party systems and does not determine how long they retain your content or whether they use it for security, moderation, service improvement, or other purposes.
Review the relevant tool page and the provider's privacy policy before submitting content. Do not upload confidential information, sensitive personal data, images you are not permitted to share, or content whose disclosure could harm you or another person. If a future tool processes files entirely in your browser or directly through our own systems, we will describe that processing on the tool page or update this Policy as appropriate.
Third-Party Services
The Site may use service providers for hosting, content delivery, security, embedded tools, advertising, and other operational functions. These providers may receive technical information needed to provide their services.
Some tool pages embed applications or interfaces hosted and operated on third-party websites. Loading or using an embedded tool connects your browser to the relevant provider and may also involve additional model, infrastructure, or application providers identified by that service. Their own privacy policies and terms govern how they collect, use, disclose, and retain information. Review the policies presented by the relevant provider before using its tool.
We may display advertising supplied by one or more third-party advertising providers. Advertising revenue helps us maintain, operate, and continue developing the Site. Depending on the provider, our configuration, your location, and your choices, an advertising provider may process cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, page-view information, and interactions with ads in order to deliver, limit, personalize, secure, and measure advertising. The provider's own privacy policy explains its specific practices and available controls.
Links to third-party websites and tools are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content of services we do not control.
How We Use Information
We use information handled by or on behalf of the Site to provide requested pages and features; remember language choices; maintain performance and security; detect fraud, abuse, and technical failures; understand and improve the Site; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, third parties, and the Site.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the Site, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with law, or act with your consent. You may withdraw consent through the available consent control, but withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.
How Information May Be Disclosed
We may disclose information to vendors that help operate the Site; to embedded-tool, advertising, and infrastructure providers when you use their features; when required by law or a valid legal process; when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of Site assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define targeted advertising or certain disclosures to advertising partners as a "sale" or "sharing." Where those laws apply, you may use any privacy or consent control displayed on the Site to exercise the available choice.
Data Retention
Language preferences remain in local storage until you clear them or replace them. A language-banner dismissal is designed to expire after a limited period. Technical logs handled by our infrastructure providers are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and dispute resolution, subject to the provider's retention practices.
Third-party tool and advertising providers set their own retention periods. Requests concerning prompts, uploaded images, generated outputs, or account information held by a third party should be directed to that provider.
Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can clear local storage and cookies, block third-party cookies, disable advertising personalization, or choose not to use an embedded tool. Your browser may also let you prevent third-party frames from loading.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. These rights may be limited by law and may not apply when we cannot reasonably verify or identify the relevant data. For information held by an embedded provider, contact that provider directly because we may not have access to it.
International Processing
The Site and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, the relevant party is responsible for using an approved legal mechanism for international transfers.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children who are not old enough to consent to online data processing under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from such children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information through the Site should contact the relevant tool provider and notify us through any contact method published on the Site.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the Site. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, altered, lost, or disclosed. Be especially careful when submitting content to an embedded third-party tool.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site adds tools, providers, or features or as legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
